Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last year of junior high school. Her two brothers are Gregory, her older brother, and Evan. It was her first position within the business. It was her first job from age nine to sixteen. Ron Stetson trained her in the methods of acting taught by Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. The process took approximately three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among the other actors to receive this kind of instruction. Her first performance came in Beverly Hills 90210. This led to her relocating to Los Angeles. After being offered the lead part on Johnny Mnemonic where she did majority of the stunts her own, she established herself as an actress that is physically fit. She was also represented by Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent she managed to land a regular role on Friends.
